Restoran E & O is famous for their Fish Head Curry aka Kari Kepala Ikan =)
My dad brought my family and I to this place last week.
This restaurant is opened by Chinese, but, it is operated by Muslims... and the cooking style is Indian... 1Malaysia !!
Don't be shocked when you see different races of people gathered in this place to have a hot and spicy curry fish head.
Here are some signature dishes :
The Famous Fish Head Curry - Rm 50
They served us with the whole fish head, instead of the usual half side at most of the restaurants.
This Indian Style curry was served with Ikan Jenahak, okras, long beans, tofu pok and some tomatoes.
Very satisfying dish. =)
See how huge it is !!
Fried Chicken
This tasted like the normal fried chicken. I will order fried calamari next time.
Curry Squid
This was my favourite dish of the day. The taste of the curry was different from the fish head's curry. This was thicker and richer in substance.
Reminds me of Nasi Kandar at Pelita !!
Highly recommended !
Sambal Petai
For those who love the smell and taste of this unusual fruit !
This was superb !
The sambal was fragrant. It matched with the petai perfectly !
Poached Cabbage
This dish was normal and overpriced.
You can skip this and order other stuffs instead k?
I think it cost around 16 for this...
Coconut Drink
Last star of the day ! Coconut water to cool down the spiciness.
AHHH !
This place can be easily found. Don't worry.
Overall rating : 8/10
Verdict : will always go back again =) there are more to try...

All the dishes look very promising.
The foods are tooooooo salty. wont go back again.
maybe the chef's mood was bad that day?
I've been living in taman wahyu more than 30 years. The foods at E&O is worst....really salty and damn expensive. You can get better Curry Fish Head at any where else.... (Halal - Restaurant Pelita - Jalan Ampang / Kayu - PJ SS2 / NZ - Public Bank KL). (Non-Halal - Curry Fish Head Restaurant Jalan Pudu 032143-4208)
I have been there many times and the standard of the dishes is quite high. Big portion for the fish head curry and most importantly the fishes are fresh. Definitely worth the money. Should try out the curry mutton or beef as well. They tastes very good as well.
To Anonymous 3 - Good stuff of course expensive. That's why people buy BMW/Merc instead of Honda/Toyota? =P
If Pelita and Kayu can serve fresh fishes too, I would recommend as well. But too bad their seafood are not fresh! NZ is not cheap at all!!
Agree to the above comment.
Although not all costly things are to be deemed good, but most good things do come with chunky price tags.
Albeit their prices might seem rather steep, the portions were fairly large and freshness of the ingredients used rather commendable.
Probably not pocket-friendly to make it a daily affair, however as an occasional indulgence,it's absolutely worth a go.At the least, worth a try.
Agreed with two thumbs up,for those who are curry lovers won't miss to enjoy the freshnes of the dish at e&o...once bite then will surely come back!
